Ever since I can remember I have been drawing. Throughout school it’s all I cared about, but I could never answer the question of what I wanted to do with it for a job. I just wanted to make a piece of art for its own sake. Careers advisors don’t really point kids in the direction of tattooing, which I think is a shame.
I got tattooed young, and always kept drawing but it wasn’t until I was in my late 20’s that I had the idea and an opportunity to start tattooing. Since then I’ve never looked back and I love it more every day! I love making a piece of art that the client gets to take everywhere with them.
I specialise in illustrative and Japanese tattooing.
I love the mix of realism and forced perspective with illustrative tattooing along with the freedom of interpretation.
Japanese tattooing consistently inspires me; I love the bold lines and bright colours contrasted against black and grey background, but mostly I love the stories that accompany the imagery. Eastern art is so vastly different from Western and when it’s origin is so deeply rooted in a folklore that is mysterious and strange it captures the imagination easily. I love portraying that through tattoos.

I've always been drawing from a young age and creating art. Being able to put that art onto someone’s body, for them to go and show their friends and take it around the world when they travel, that was always cool to me.
I specialise in black and grey realism, I love the challenge to see how real I can make a tattoo become with all the different shades and textures.

I've been enchanted by tattoos since my Uncle turned up with a koi sleeve to a family barbecue. It was the coolest thing in the world to me.
It was a long held pipe dream to start tattooing until in the end I was able to learn through Terry and was immediately eager to learn more.
I specialise in Anime tattoos as I am very well versed in the subject matter and outside of a few general rules I am free to use whatever colour palette, style and detail level to execute my client's brief, though as long as I'm challenged I'm happy.
